3 nights at the Best Western Scores Hotel St Andrews : it is the nearest hotel to the first tee of the famous Old Course

4 nights at Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa : large estate with a big heated swimming-pool, sauna, whirlpool bath and hammam, with a wide view on the championship course, Carnoustie town and the sea.

Day 1 : Arrival at Edinburgh Airport and transfer to St Andrews
Day 2 : 18 holes at St Andrews New. It was built by the green-keeper Tom Morris in 1895. It got its name St Andrews New in order to differentiate it from its famous neighbour. It offers undulating fairways and difficult greens. The New Course is a challenge.
Day 3 : 18 holes at the Jubilee Course (3rd Championship Course). The Jubilee is considered as the most difficult one of the famous St Andrews Links. It was built in 1897.
Day 4 : day off. Visit of St Andrews’ surroundings, discovery of the local culture and walks along the sea-side.
It is possible to take part in the drawing lots for St Andrews Old Course or play on another course with an extra-charge.  The 18 holes St Andrews Old Course is the oldest and most emblematic course in the world.
The Swilcan Bridge and Hell Bunker Courses are well-known in the whole world.
If you win the drawing lots, you will be allowed to play on St Andrews Old Course with an extra charge of 225€  per person.
Golf carts are allowed on the Old Course only in the afternoons between April and October.
We advise you to hire a local caddie who will not only carry your bag but will give you advice while playing. Caddie fee : 65 € + a tip of a minimum of 30 €
Transfer to Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa
Day 5 : 18 holes at Carnoustie Championship Links. Situated in Carnoustie Royal Burgh, it hosted The Bristish Open quite a number of times. A unique experience !
Day 6 : 18 holes at Burnside Links. It is the 2nd Course in Carnoustie and is very pleasant to play. It offers quite a number of difficulties , with lots of trees and is a good warming up before playing a championship course the next day)
Day 7 : 18 holes at Panmure Links (one of the oldest golf courses on the Angus Coast, near the village of Barry ; a good challenge)
Day 8 : Transfer to Edinburgh Airport
